What is the effect of our project?
Our program's purpose is to provide public education in our local community about the
issue of plastic and the power each individual has to create a cleaner planet, one piece at a time.
By spreading environmental awareness beyond our community and around the globe,
we can lead to a brighter future for the good of the world.
Spreading awareness about the dangers of neglecting plastic film is crucial to our project.
Recruiting staff members is our first basis, and then we will try to advocate for recycling plastic film around our community more and more.
What's plastic film?
Whenever plastic is recycled, this means that the waste (the plastic that could've ended up in the dumpster) is used to create new materials.
Recycling reduces the need to extract natural resources such as timber, water, and minerals
In turn, potential waste is removed and both energy and materials are conserved
This circular economy, if amplified, will contribute greatly to the long-term health and sustainability of Earth

Overview of plastic recycling
Recycling is the process of reprocessing recyclable products into useful products
Resulting products can be the same material as the original product
but can also be completely different from their original state
Plastic recycling isn't limited to just reuse of plastic:
it can also be converted into chemicals to meet sufficient energy needs
Our project will focus mainly on recycling plastic film in particular
